That is why neogrün® finger paints are designed to bring an unforgettable and harmless painting experience.  neogrün® finger paints are based on natural eco-friendly raw materials and use only refined mineral and plant pigments in food or cosmetic quality. The palette of mild natural colors is intended to promote the color perception at young age through calm and focused sensory play.

Additionally, our finger paints are independently validated and certified to meet the strict ecological and vegan standards. This makes neogrün® finger paints the first certified natural and vegan product in this category.

neogrün® finger paints feature a thick and creamy consistency for a spill-free painting and a unique skin feel. Can be used on paper, cardboard, glass, stone and many other surfaces, not only with hands and feet. Can also be applied with the brush or printed by sponge or stamps. neogrün® finger paints are easy to spread, water-soluble, dilutable and miscible with each other. Even after drying finger paints keep the initial volume.

The wet paints can be easily removed with the sponge from most of the non-absorbing surfaces. After drying may leave a light stain on natural white textiles. Protect the valuable surfaces from the contact with the paints.

We recommend to protect from light when not in use to preserve the luminosity of vegetable dyes.

Are the finger paints allergy-friendly?

Our finger paints are free from the most common allergens typically found in food.*
However, keep in mind that allergic reactions can occur to almost any ingredient – whether natural or synthetic.

* Free from gluten, soy, peanuts and tree nuts, palm oil, milk, fish, and eggs.

Are the finger paints lactose- and gluten-free?

Short answer – YES. Long answer – Finger paints are not food products, so we prefer to refer to milk and grain ingredients as potential allergens. Our finger paints contain no wheat gluten or other wheat components. The starch we use is derived from corn. All our products are vegan, which means they contain no milk-based ingredients.

Are the finger paints lightfast?

neogrün finger paints are made from colors that originate in nature. These colors are vibrant and largely lightfast. However, their intensity may fade over time and with direct sunlight exposure. We recommend storing the paint cups in the original box to protect them from light.

Do the finger paints contain talc?

No, our finger paints do not contain talc. Talc can be a health concern, as contamination with asbestos may pose risks to the respiratory system and has been linked to cancer. That’s why we completely avoid using talc in any of our products.

How long do the finger paints last?

The finger paints have a shelf life of at least 36 months from the production date when unopened. You can find the best-before date on the bottom left of the back of the cardboard packaging and on the bottom of each paint cup.

To avoid the introduction of bacteria and ensure a long shelf life even after opening, we recommend using a spoon to take out the amount of paint you need and placing it on a plate or in a separate container. This way, you can reseal the remaining paint and store it for the next use – ideally in the cardboard box at room temperature.

Sind die Fingerfarben aus der Kleidung auswaschbar?

In eigenen Versuchen und auch bei Kunden ließen sich die Farben problemlos bei 30°C bzw. 40°C auswaschen. Allerdings spielt auch immer die Art der Textilie eine Rolle. Deshalb empfehlen wir grundsätzlich nicht die beste Kleidung oder eine Bastelschürze beim Malen zu tragen. Sollte dennoch etwas Farbe auf T-Shirt, Pullover etc. gelangen, dann bitte nicht sofort mit Wasser behandeln, sondern einfach trocknen lassen, die Farbreste ausbürsten und erst dann in die Wäsche geben.

Sind die Fingermalfarben für das Bemalen von Textilien geeignet?

Die Fingerfarben sind nicht für das bemalen von Textilien geeignet und lassen sich dort auch nicht dauerhaft fixieren. Die Rezeptur ist so konzipiert, dass sich die Farben in der Regel leicht aus Textilien auswaschen lassen.

Sind die Produkte biologisch abbaubar und umweltfreundlich?

Ja! Alle organischen Inhaltsstoffe unserer Produkte sind leicht biologisch abbaubar. Die mineralischen Bestandteile sind umweltfreundlich. Die Reste unserer Produkte (ohne Kunststoffbehälter und Papierverpackungen) eignen sich zur Kompostierung und können im Biomüll entsorgt werden.

Was passiert, wenn Kinder die Fingerfarben in den Mund nehmen?

Es besteht keine Gefahr, wenn Kinder etwas Farbe in den Mund nehmen sollten. Unsere Inhaltsstoffe sind natürlichen Ursprungs, auf Schadstoffe geprüft und frei von den häufigsten Allergenen (Weizengluten, Soja, Nüsse, Milch, Fisch und Eier). Damit Kinder allerdings keinen Gefallen am Geschmack der Farben finden, sind wir per Gesetz verpflichtet unseren Produkten eine bitterschmeckende Substanz zuzufügen.
