Yes, the packaging and the stickers on our cups do not contain animal ingredients or anyhow involved in animal cruelty.
neogrün® Finger Paints and Easy Clay are organic. Our products are made from organically cultivated and natural ingredients, and this is confirmed by “NCP-vegan” label. With “NCP-vegan”, we ensure to our customers that more than 95% of the unprocessed agricultural ingredients in our products are organic and the remaining part is derived exclusively from mineral or vegetable sources. In addition, we guarantee with “NCP-vegan” that our products are ecological, vegan and free from genetic engineering and animal cruelty.
There is an ongoing discussion about the reasonable use of plastic packaging and its negative impact on our environment. However, it is not the plastic to blame for the pollution, rather our irresponsible actions that lead to it. That’s why we use plastic only where there is currently no more environmentally friendly alternative. Two obvious alternatives for the wet product are the glass or bioplastics. Regarding the first, we do not consider glass safe enough to be use in toys. S for the bioplastics, although they are bio-based, they create a serious issue for recycling. Bioplastics are currently included in the recycling class “7 – Others”, which is the worst class for recycling.
That’s why we decided to use only cups and stickers made of food safe pure polypropylene. It is 100% recyclable and can be properly disposed of by every child.
Upcycling before recycling! You can continue using our cups in a household as a container for small objects. Or try them as a flower pot – thanks to transparent walls you and your child can watch the roots grow through the soil.

With the CE mark we show you as a manufacturer that we have manufactured our product according to the specific requirements of current European directives.
We are frequently asked for a certificate of the CE mark. The CE mark is not a (test) seal, which is given by third parties, which is why a certificate for the CE mark is not available.

Easy Clay contains gluten. Otherwise, our modeling clay is free from the most common * allergens found in food.
But remember that allergic reactions can develop to a virtually any ingredient. And it does not matter if the substance is natural or synthetic. We strongly advise to immediately contact your doctor if you noticed itching, swelling in the nose and throat or rash.

No. During the development of Easy Clay, we deliberately decided not to use alum.
Yes, that’s normal and expected. Even though, our Easy Clay is produced from edible ingredients, it is not suitable for consumption. We are obliged by law to add a bitter-tasting substance to our products to prevent children from accidental swallowing of the clay.
Short answer – YES. Long answer – finger paints are not food. Therefore, we prefer to talk about dairy and cereal ingredients as potential allergens. Our finger paints contain no wheat gluten and no other wheat components. The starch in our finger paints comes from corn. All of our products are vegan, which is why they do not contain milk or any other animal ingredients.

neogrün finger paints consist of natural colors that are bright and relatively light stable. However, the intensity of colors may decrease with time and after the long exposure to direct sunlight. We recommend keeping the paint pots in their original box to protect them from light.
